In 1969, FRÜH Kölsch was introduced in bottles for the first time - a small step for the brewery - but a big one for everyone who wanted to enjoy their Kölsch at home or on the go. Today, the original comes in a modern longneck design, available in 0.33 L and 0.5 L bottles. Both sizes are offered in reusable bottles.

FRÜH Alcohol Free was introduced in 1992 as the first alcohol free Kölsch on the market. With a mix of tradition and new ideas, FRÜH added a new chapter to Kölsch culture. In 2008, we went one step further and removed the remaining alcohol completely. FRÜH Kölsch Alcohol Free 0.0% was ahead of its time and one of the early completely alcohol free beers on the market.
The alcohol is beeing removed after the beer has fully matured. This helps preserve the characteristic FRÜH taste while giving it around 60% fewer calories than a regular Kölsch.
